Why it wasn't imported
Checked directly: Action for Blind People merged into RNIB years ago, and RNIB's own published annual report and accounts (2023/24) states it now 'exists as a shell charity to receive donations and legacies, which are transferred to RNIB' - not an operating service. The Leeds office phone/email in Bradford's directory listing (0113 3862800, leeds@actionforblindpeople.org.uk) can't be confirmed as a currently-staffed live contact rather than a stale carried-over listing, so not safe to publish as a real route into support. RNIB itself is a genuine future candidate and should be researched properly on its own current contact channels, separately from this legacy brand name, when time allows.
