Get intensive behaviour support to avoid a residential placement
Positive Behaviour Support for children and young people (up to 25) with highly complex needs, learning disabilities, autism or mental health needs - working intensively with the family to avoid admission to a specialist residential or hospital placement, then planning a supported transition once things are stable.
Get short breaks, life skills or transition support as you prepare for adulthood
Community-based short breaks, transition outreach support and life skills development for children and young people with a learning disability, plus supported living from age 16 and transition support from age 14 - run by Affinity Trust, a specialist learning disability charity.
