Services from Bradford Children and Families Trust

Get social care support for your disabled child (CCHDT)

The Children's Complex Health or Disabilities Team (CCHDT) provides specialist social work support for disabled children and young people (0-18) whose needs are severe, profound or complex and have a long-term, substantial effect on the child and family. Four locality teams cover the Bradford district.

Report a concern about a child's welfare or safety

Bradford's Children's Services Contact Centre is the first point of contact for new enquiries and concerns about a child, from the public or professionals. During office hours call the Initial Contact Point; outside office hours contact the Emergency Duty Team.

Report an urgent child welfare concern out of hours

Bradford's Emergency Duty Team (EDT) handles urgent concerns about a child's welfare or safety outside normal office hours (evenings, weekends and bank holidays), when the usual Children's Services Contact Centre is closed.
