Request a Care, Education and Treatment Review (CETR)

Request a CETR - a review built around your child, if they are at risk of going into hospital (or already in hospital) for a mental health condition. It looks at care, education and treatment together.

A panel - a chairperson, a clinical expert, and someone with real lived experience, none involved in day-to-day care - listens to the person, their carers and professionals, then makes recommendations. Anyone can ask for a CETR: a professional, or the individual or their family.

A person-centred review for children and young people at risk of hospital admission (or already in hospital) for a mental health condition - looks at care, education and treatment together, with recommendations to reduce risk and support independence.
